Get to know Ölfus Cluster
Who we are
Ölfus Cluster ses. (ÖC), is a non-profit organization and was founded in 2021. The founders of the Ölfus Cluster are 23 in total and have in common that they work within Ölfus or work on projects in collaboration with local companies or institutions. The founders of ÖC come from the main pillars of the Icelandic economy.
Purpose
The purpose of ÖC is to promote job creation, innovation and research with an emphasis on the Ölfus region. ÖC works closely with the municipality and the business community and has extensive knowledge of the region's infrastructure.
Consulting
ÖC supports and encourages innovation by providing or directing specialized and tailored support services to parties in the region, thus stimulating companies in innovative activities.
Collaboration
ÖC facilitates strategic collaboration by bringing together companies with complementary capabilities and processes with the aim of facilitating the emergence of new clusters and/or strengthening existing ones.
